Early Life

Cheng Lei was born in Dongguan, Guangdong, China. In 2013, he majored in architectural design at the Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in 2017. During his studies, he participated in acting as an extra. Following his graduation, he signed with Beijing Lianyi Culture and Media Co., Ltd. in 2017 and began his career in the entertainment industry.

In 2022, Cheng Lei joined the show The Sky of Painting Teens as a regular cast member.

At the end of 2023, he appeared in the variety show Ace vs Ace Season 8. On December 31, 2023, he participated in the 2024 Dragon TV New Year’s Eve Gala (Dream Oriented Eastern), where he performed the song “A Little Sweet” alongside Tian Xiwei.
