Dilraba Dilmurat (Chinese: 迪丽热巴; born June 3, 1992), known mononymously as Dilireba, is a Chinese actress and model of Uyghur descent. She is active in the fields of film, television, and fashion in mainland China.

Early life

Dilraba Dilmurat was born in Ürümqi, Xinjiang, to a family with an artistic background. Her father was a soloist for the Xinjiang Song and Dance Troupe. From a young age, Dilmurat was exposed to various art forms and studied piano, dance, violin, and guitar.

In 2001, at the age of nine, Dilmurat enrolled in the Xinjiang Arts Academy. While she initially viewed the program as an extracurricular activity, she was selected for professional dance training, spending six years studying traditional dance and ballet.

In 2007, upon graduating from the academy, she joined the Xinjiang Song and Dance Troupe as a professional dancer.

In 2009, Dilmurat attended a preparatory program at the School of Ethnology at Northeast Normal University. During this period, she won third prize in a provincial singing competition in Jilin. Although she originally intended to apply to the Central Conservatory of Music due to her training in piano, Dilmurat ultimately chose to pursue acting.

In 2010, she was admitted to the Shanghai Theatre Academy, majoring in drama, film, and television performance. That same year, she participated in the auditions for the lead role of Consort Yu in the historical film The King’s Feast.

Family

Dilmurat was raised in Ürümqi, where her parents encouraged her pursuit of the arts. She is currently unmarried and has no children. Dilmurat maintains a private personal life, primarily sharing information regarding her professional activities.

Career

Dilmurat began her professional career as a dancer in 2007. After transitioning to acting, she received her first lead role in the television series Anarhan (2013).

In 2014, Dilmurat signed with Jay Walk Studio and appeared in company-produced projects such as V Love and Swords of Legends. This period marked her formal entry into the mainland Chinese television industry. From 2015 to 2016, Dilmurat gained wider recognition through the series Diamond Lover and Hot Girl, winning awards at the China TV Drama Awards and ENAwards.

In 2017, Dilmurat starred in Pretty Li Huizhen and Eternal Love. Her performance in Eternal Love earned her a nomination at the Shanghai Television Festival. During the same year, she starred in the romantic comedy film Mr. Pride vs Miss Prejudice and joined the cast of the variety show Keep Running.

In 2018, she appeared in several projects including The Flame’s Daughter, Sweet Dreams, and 21 Karat. She was selected as the “Golden Eagle Goddess” at the China TV Golden Eagle Award and established an independent studio under the management of Jay Walk Studio.

In 2019, Dilmurat performed at the CCTV New Year’s Gala and became a regular cast member on the fifth season of Go Fighting!. She also served as a mentor on the survival show Produce Camp 2019.

Between 2020 and 2021, she starred in Eternal Love of Dream, Love Designer, The Long Ballad, and You Are My Glory. The latter reportedly reached 4 billion online views during its broadcast period.

From 2022 to 2023, Dilmurat held lead roles in The Blue Whisper, Legend of Anle, and Prosecution Elites.

In the 2024–2025 period, her projects included Love on the Turquoise Land, which concluded filming in February 2025 for release on the Tencent platform.

In 2025, she starred in the crime drama Sword Rose, playing a police officer in an anti-trafficking unit. The series premiered on July 28, 2025, on Tencent and iQiyi. She also participated in the project Love Beyond the Grave.
