Mao Xiaotong (Chinese: 毛晓彤; born February 16, 1988), also known as Rachel Momo, is a Chinese actress. Mao Xiaotong has been active in the film and television industry since 2010.
Early life
Mao Xiaotong was born in Tianjin, China. Following her parents’ divorce, she adopted her mother’s surname.
In 1992, at the age of 4, Mao Xiaotong began learning keyboard and vocal music. On April, she joined the Tianjin Little Angel Orchestra to study the organ and participated in several television recordings for Tianjin TV. In 1996, at the age of 8, she joined a choir.
In 2000, at the age of 12, Mao Xiaotong achieved Level 5 proficiency in piano.
In 2001, at the age of 13, she was admitted to the Beijing Professional Dance School, where she studied Latin and modern dance and subsequently won awards in various dance competitions.
In 2005, at the age of 17, she was admitted to the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama and received annual scholarships for academic excellence.

In 2010, Mao Xiaotong appeared in the television series Detective as Liu Er.
In 2011, Mao Xiaotong appeared in the family drama Stupid Xiang as the young Zhao Subu.
In 2012, Mao Xiaotong portrayed Noble Lady Ying in the period drama Empresses in the Palace, a role that brought her public attention. On the same year, she appeared in the wuxia series The Magic Blade as Nangong Ling and received a nomination for Best New Actress at the 3rd LeTV Awards.
