Meng Lu (孟璐) is a Chinese actress born on August 23 in Shaanxi Province, China. She graduated from the Beijing Film Academy, a leading performing arts institution in China.
Meng Lu began her career in film and television in the early 2010s, appearing in various television series, feature films, and web dramas.
Career
Meng Lu’s career is characterized by her involvement in the development of Chinese online films, web series, and short dramas, which emerged as mainstream trends in the late 2010s.
Meng Lu made her screen debut in the historical film Beginning of the Great Revival (2011) in a supporting role as a student. In 2013, she appeared in the modern family comedy May-December Love and the historical series The Age of Heroes.
In April 2015, Meng Lu performed in the historical palace drama Gong Xi Fa Cai. On October 9 of the same year, the urban web comedy Wake Up, Eunuch Xiao Zhu premiered on LeTV, in which Meng Lu played the role of Maya.
In May 2016, Meng Lu starred in the modern educational film Love Me Chang’an. On July 13, the time-travel historical idol drama Jian Wang Chen Yuan was released on iQIYI, featuring Meng Lu as Ou Xiaonuo. In September, she starred in the thriller web drama Humanoid Master.
