EVNNE is a K-pop boy group managed by Jellyfish Entertainment. In 2023, EVNNE debuted on September 19 in South Korea with the first mini album Target: Me.

The group currently consists of five members: Keita (Japanese, leader), Park Han-bin, Lee Jeong-hyeon, Mun Jung-hyun, and Park Ji-hoo, the latter four of whom are South Korean. In 2026, EVNNE officially became a five-member group on January 5 following the expiration of contracts for Yoo Seung-eon and Ji Yun-seo, who returned to their original agency, YH Entertainment.
All members were contestants on the reality competition program Boys Planet (Mnet, 2023). Although they did not place in the top nine to join the winning group Zerobaseone, the group followed a formation model similar to previous project groups JBJ and RAINZ, which were composed of contestants who did not debut through their respective survival shows.
Meaning of EVNNE
EVNNE is an acronym derived from English and French: EVEnning’s Newest Étoiles. The word étoiles means “stars” in French. The name represents new stars appearing in the night sky, symbolizing the goal of reaching the highest position and garnering attention.
In 2023, Jellyfish Entertainment initially announced the group on August 3 under the name BLIT, an acronym for Boldly Leaping into Tomorrow. In 2023, the name was changed on August 9 due to concerns regarding potential negative connotations. EVNNE was selected as the replacement after direct discussions with the members.
Fandom and lightstick
The official fandom of EVNNE is named ENNVE (엔브), announced on August 30, 2023. ENNVE is a complete structural reversal of EVNNE, representing a mirrored image where the group and the fans look at each other and move forward as a unified entity.
In 2024, the official lightstick was released with a matte black body design. The EVNNE logo at the top serves as the primary light source, while the names of each member are embossed on the sides of the handle, and the power button is star-shaped. Unlike many K-pop lightsticks that utilize cool tones such as white, blue, or purple, the default light color for EVNNE is red. The lightstick supports multiple color modes, including “ENVY mode,” which features continuous color-shifting effects and official mobile app connectivity for synchronized lighting during concerts.
Popularity
EVNNE focuses commercial activities in South Korea and Japan. In 2024, the group released its first Japanese single “景色 (KESHIKI)” in November and held various fan meetings and concerts in Japan, including KCON Japan 2025. International activities expanded to other regions, including KCON Saudi Arabia 2023, KCON Germany 2024, the 2024 North American tour Ride With EVNNE, and the 2024 Asian fan concert tour Squad:R.
In 2023, the debut album Target: Me received Platinum certification from the KMCA, selling over 264,000 copies in South Korea and 33,000 copies in Japan. Albums released between 2024 and 2025 maintained stable sales, ranging from approximately 167,000 to over 209,000 copies per release cycle.
EVNNE is the first group from Jellyfish Entertainment formed through a television reality survival program. Unlike many contemporary groups trained under a pre-existing long-term plan, EVNNE was assembled from trainees of three different agencies—WakeOne, YH Entertainment, and Rain Company—immediately following the conclusion of Boys Planet. Keita previously served as a member of the group Ciipher before participating in the program, marking a process of debut and re-debut upon joining EVNNE.
Awards
In 2023, EVNNE was nominated for Rookie of the Year at the Golden Disc Awards, Hanteo Music Awards, and Seoul Music Awards. Target: Me was shortlisted for Album of the Year and Artist of the Year at the MAMA Awards.
In 2024, EVNNE won the Emerging Artist award at the Hanteo Music Awards, the Global Hot Trend Award at The Fact Music Awards, and the Universal Hot Focus award at the Universal Superstar Awards. In 2024, the group achieved its first music show win on January 31 with the song “Ugly” on Show Champion.
In 2025, EVNNE won the Emerging Artist award for the second consecutive year at the Hanteo Music Awards. In 2025, the group secured two consecutive music show wins with “How Can I Do” on The Show on August 12 and Music Bank on August 15.
Musical style
Through five mini albums released from 2023 to 2025, EVNNE transitioned through different concepts. In 2023, Target: Me utilized pop and R&B sounds. In 2024, Un: Seen introduced a heavier sound with the title track “Ugly,” which reached number 8 on the South Korean digital download chart. Ride or Die followed later in 2024 with “Badder Love,” recording sales exceeding 207,000 copies.
In 2025, Hot Mess adopted a pop-rock direction with contrasting promotional imagery. The album featured two parallel concepts: “Splatter,” utilizing chaotic colors, and “Sowing,” featuring a quiet garden-style atmosphere. In 2025, Love Anecdote(s) utilized hip-hop with the title track “How Can I Do,” built on funky drums and bass, combining sharp rap sections with vocals that convey a proactive attitude in romance.
