KICKFLIP is a South Korean boy group managed by JYP Entertainment. The group officially debuted on January 20, 2025, with the extended play (EP) Flip It, Kick It!, marking the first boy group launched by JYP Entertainment in nearly seven years.
KICKFLIP consists of seven members: Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon. Kyehoon, Juwang, Minje, and Donghyeon are South Korean nationals; Amaru and Keiju are Japanese nationals. Minje was born in New Zealand and holds dual South Korean and New Zealander citizenship.
Meaning of KICKFLIP
The name “KickFlip” is derived from the skateboarding trick of the same name, in which a rider flips the board 360 degrees along its longitudinal axis before landing. The name symbolizes an ambition to break conventions and create distinct performances. The official greeting of the group is: “Flip It! Kick It! Hello, we are KickFlip!”

The official fandom of KICKFLIP is named WeFlip, announced on May 26, 2025, during the comeback showcase for the second EP, Kick Out, Flip Now!. The name combines “We” and “KickFlip” to signify that the group and fans belong to a single entity.
