LE SSERAFIM is a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels. The group consists of five members: Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. Originally a six-member ensemble, the group debuted on May 2, 2022, with the extended play (EP) FEARLESS. Member Kim Garam departed from the group in July 2022 following the termination of her contract.

Kim Chaewon serves as the group leader. Huh Yunjin is involved in songwriting, while Kazuha has a professional background in ballet. Hong Eunchae specializes in hip hop dance.
Group name
The name LE SSERAFIM is an anagram of the phrase “I’m Fearless.” It is derived from the term “Seraphim,” referring to six-winged celestial beings in religious traditions. The name is intended to represent the group’s message of moving forward without fear.
Fandom & lightstick
The official fandom name is FEARNOT (피어나), which is homophonous with the Korean word for “blooming.” Source Music announced the name in August 2022.
LE SSERAFIM released its official lightstick in March 2023. The device measures 4.96 x 25.7 x 4.2 cm and is constructed from ABS and PC materials. It operates on three AAA alkaline batteries with a continuous battery life of three hours. The product includes a dust bag, a strap, and a user manual. In 2025, the group released decorative band accessories for the lightstick during the “EASY CRAZY HOT” tour.
Popularity
In January 2026, LE SSERAFIM ranked ninth on the Social Chart 3.0. The group has placed nine songs on international music charts, including “SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)” at number 67 and “ANTIFRAGILE” at number 90. Their fifth album and first single album both reached the top 50 on the Album Chart and Retail Album Chart.
The group performed at Coachella in 2024. The 2025 “EASY CRAZY HOT” tour sold out during the official ticketing period. Musical style
LE SSERAFIM releases music across various genres, including dance-pop, funk-pop, dance, ballad, and R&B. The 2024 EP EASY featured “Easy,” a synth-heavy track combining pop and trap; “Smart,” which utilizes AfroPop rhythms with piano melodies; and “We got so much,” which incorporates Y2K pop and R&B influences.
