NMIXX is a six-member South Korean girl group active in the K-pop industry under JYP Entertainment. The group debuted on February 22, 2022, with the single album AD MARE. Originally formed with seven members, NMIXX continued activities as a six-member group after Jinni departed on December 9, 2022. The current lineup consists of Haewon, Lily, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, all of whom are South Korean nationals.

Group name meaning

The name NMIXX is a compound of the letter “N”, representing “now”, “new”, “next”, and an unspecified variable n, combined with the word “MIX”, symbolizing combination and diversity. The overall meaning conveys the concept of “the best combination for a new era”.

Fandom and lightstick

The official fandom name of NMIXX is NSWER, an abbreviation of “North South West East Route”. The fandom name was announced during the group’s debut showcase on March 1, 2022.

The official lightstick, titled MIXXTICK, was released on February 20, 2023. Its design features a transparent globe containing a whale at the center, depicted spouting water from its blowhole, with a white handle and water effects represented through light blue illumination. The ocean theme originates from the debut album AD MARE, which means “toward the sea” in Latin.

NMIXX has built a following primarily in South Korea and other Asian markets. The group’s official YouTube channel reached approximately 3.4 million subscribers by mid-2025.
