Early life
Bang Jeemin was born in Busan, South Korea. She attended Gupyeong Elementary School and Giji Elementary School before studying at Shindong Middle School. From 2013 to 2015, Jeemin worked as a child actress, appearing in the television dramas All About My Romance (2013), Good Doctor (2013), Into the Flames (2014), and Remember (2015).
Career
In 2018, Jeemin began a training period at Source Music. She later moved to Belift Lab before joining WAKEONE Entertainment.
In 2023, on June 16, Jeemin participated in the Belift Lab reality competition show R U Next?. She ranked seventh in the final episode, which did not qualify her to debut with the group ILLIT.
In 2024, Jeemin participated in the Mnet program I-LAND 2. On July 3, she ranked second with 591,495 votes in the final and secured a position in the debut lineup. On November 25, Jeemin debuted as a member of izna under WAKEONE Entertainment with the mini album N/a. She holds the positions of center and visual within the group.
In 2025, on March 31, Jeemin and izna released the digital single “SIGN”. On April 15, the group achieved its first music program win on The Show. On June 9, Jeemin and izna released the first single album BEEP, featuring the title track of the same name. In August, she performed with the group at KCON LA 2025 and Summer Sonic 2025 in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. On September 30, Jeemin and izna released the second mini album Not Just Pretty.
