Eunha, born Jung Eun-bi (정은비) on May 30, 1997 in Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea, is a South Korean singer. She is currently the main vocalist of the girl group VIVIZ under BPM Entertainment. Before her re-debut with VIVIZ in 2022, Eunha was a member of GFRIEND (2015–2021).

She is recognized for her sweet vocal tone and songwriting ability, while also being active in acting and hosting. Throughout her career since 2015, she has released solo tracks and collaborated with various well-known artists.

Early life

From an early age, Eunha was exposed to the arts and appeared as a child actress in the television program The Clinic for Married Couples: Love and War (2007). At the age of seven, she was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) and underwent regular treatments and blood tests until the sixth grade, after which she made a full recovery.

She trained at Krazy Dance Academy and DM Skool, where she met SinB, who later became her teammate in both GFRIEND and VIVIZ.

Before officially pursuing her career as an idol, Eunha spent about a year as a trainee at BigHit Entertainment, then moved to Loen Entertainment. She later paused her training to focus on high school education. Subsequently, she joined Source Music, where she trained for only two months before being selected to debut with GFRIEND in 2015.

In 2016, she graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) alongside Yuju, Yerin, SinB, Umji, and Lovelyz’s Sujeong.

Career

Eunha’s professional career began in 2015 when she officially debuted as the main vocalist of GFRIEND under Source Music.

In January 2015, GFRIEND released their debut single “Glass Bead” from the mini album Season of Glass, which peaked at No. 12 on the Gaon Chart. In July of the same year, “Me Gustas Tu” from the album Flower Bud became a turning point when the group’s performance on a slippery stage went viral, gaining international attention and earning a nomination at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Alongside group activities, Eunha developed her solo portfolio. In October 2015, she featured on rapper Pro C’s track “Han River at Night.”

In 2016, she recorded the OST “Don’t Come to Farewell” for the drama Six Flying Dragons, becoming the first GFRIEND member to release a solo OST. That same year, she appeared on the program Oh My God! Tip with Park Kyung (Block B) and collaborated with him on the single “Inferiority Complex” released on May 25.

In 2017, she contributed the OST “Love-ing” for the drama Temperature of Love. Between 2015 and 2021, Eunha, as part of GFRIEND, released several successful albums including LOL (2016), The Awakening (2017), Time For Us (2019), and the series (2020).

On May 22, 2021, GFRIEND officially disbanded following the expiration of their contract with Source Music.

In October 2021, Eunha signed with BPM Entertainment. On February 9, 2022, she made her second debut as the main vocalist of VIVIZ with the release of the mini album Beam of Prism and its lead single “BOP BOP!”.

VIVIZ quickly gained recognition, winning their first music show trophy on Show Champion just a week after debut. The group later competed in Queendom 2, finishing in third place, and became the first K-pop girl group to appear in the Grammy Global Spin series, held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

In 2023, Eunha expanded her individual activities with a collaboration with Xiumin (EXO) on the song “Who?” released on April 9. On May 23, she featured in “Slam Dunk” by the hip-hop duo Mighty Mouth.

In 2024, Eunha’s career further expanded globally as VIVIZ launched their first world tour, V.hind: Love and Tears, beginning in Seoul in June and continuing through September with 28 shows across Asia, North America, and Japan. Later that year, on November 7, the group released their fifth mini album “VOYAGE” with the title track “Shhh!”, marking their comeback after nearly a year since VERSUS (2023).

In early 2025, Eunha reunited with her former GFRIEND members for a special 10th anniversary project, releasing the commemorative album “Season of Memories” on January 13, a significant milestone in her artistic journey.
