Early life
Felix was born and raised in Seven Hills, a suburb of Sydney, Australia, to Korean parents. He is the second of three children, having an older and a younger sister. Despite living abroad, his family maintained Korean cultural traditions. Felix attended St. Patrick’s Marist College in Sydney. During his youth, he practiced taekwondo for several years and won multiple medals in the sport. In 2017, Felix moved to South Korea to pursue a career in music and participated in a survival reality show to debut with Stray Kids.
Career
In February 2017, Felix joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee after passing an audition in Australia. In October of the same year, he participated in the Mnet survival show Stray Kids. Although Felix was eliminated in the eighth episode due to limited proficiency in the Korean language, he was reinstated into the final lineup during the last episode in December 2017.
On March 25, 2018, Felix officially debuted with Stray Kids. During the debut year, he participated in the release of the I Am EP series, including I Am Not, I Am Who (featuring the title track “My Pace”), and I Am You (featuring “Get Cool”). During the same year, Felix joined the performance-focused sub-unit DanceRacha alongside members Hyunjin and Lee Know.
In December 2022, Felix released the solo track “Deep End” as part of the compilation album SKZ-Replay.
In 2023, Felix expanded into the fashion industry. He attended the Louis Vuitton Women’s Pre-Fall 2023 show in Seoul in April and was announced as a House Ambassador for the brand in July. That same year, Stray Kids released the studio album 5-Star, which peaked at number one on the Billboard 200 and achieved global sales exceeding five million units.
In November 2024, Felix featured on the track “Reawaker” by Japanese singer LiSA, which served as the opening theme for the second season of the anime Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow. In late 2024, Stray Kids released the Japanese studio album Giant, which topped Japanese music charts and received double Platinum certification. From August 2024 to October 2025, Felix participated in the dominATE world tour, consisting of 54 performances across 34 locations, concluding with two encore nights titled dominATE: celebrATE at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
In 2025, Felix increased his solo fashion and performance activities. In March, he walked the runway for the Louis Vuitton Women’s Autumn-Winter 2025/2026 show at Paris Fashion Week.
