Iroha (born Hokazono Iroha on February 4, 2008) is a Japanese singer based in South Korea. She is a member of the girl group ILLIT under the label Belift Lab. Within the group, Iroha serves as the main dancer, sub-vocalist, and maknae (the youngest member).

Early life

Hokazono Iroha was born in Tokyo, Japan. She began dance training at an early age. At age 11, she moved to South Korea to become a trainee at JYP Entertainment. Following her departure from JYP Entertainment, she joined Belift Lab. In 2023, Hokazono participated in the survival audition program R U Next? and was selected as a member of the group ILLIT.

Career

In June 2023, Iroha competed in the survival show R U Next?, where she placed fourth overall in the final rankings, securing her position in the debut lineup of ILLIT.

On March 25, 2024, Iroha officially debuted with ILLIT with the release of the mini album Super Real Me. The lead single, “Magnetic,” reached number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100. On October 21, the group released their second mini album, I’LL LIKE YOU, featuring the single “Cherish (My Love).” Iroha subsequently performed at year-end ceremonies, including the Melon Music Awards and MAMA Awards, where the group appeared as rookies.

In March 2025, Iroha and ILLIT released the digital single “Almond Chocolate,” followed by their third mini album, bomb, in June. During the same year, she participated in the fan concert GLITTER DAY in Japan in August and November. She made her official debut in the Japanese market on September 1 with the single “Toki Yo Tomare.”
