Jeong Saebi (born January 22, 2008) is a South Korean singer and dancer under WAKEONE Entertainment. Jeong Saebi is a member and the youngest of the girl group izna, serving as a sub-vocalist and dancer. Jeong Saebi debuted with izna on November 25, 2024, with the release of the debut mini album N/a.
Early life
Jeong Saebi was born in Mullae-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Jeong Saebi attended Hongik Elementary School before transferring to Seoul Mullae Elementary School and subsequently graduated from Dangsanseo Middle School. During this period, Jeong Saebi joined the school’s orchestra after passing an audition and received fundamental training in piano and violin. Jeong Saebi studied in New Zealand for three months and learned various foreign languages and instruments.
In 2018, Jeong Saebi passed the “Super Audition Vol. 3,” a multi-agency collaborative audition. Jeong Saebi trained at NY Dance Academy in Seoul and uploaded dance cover videos to YouTube. Subsequently, Jeong Saebi joined WAKEONE Entertainment and trained for three years and eight months, the longest training period among the izna members at the company.
Career
In 2024, Jeong Saebi participated in the Mnet reality survival program I-LAND 2. The official profile was released on March 22, 2024. In the final episode aired on July 4, 2024, Jeong Saebi ranked sixth with 294,721 votes and was selected by the judges as the seventh and final member to debut in the group izna.
In 2024, on November 25, Jeong Saebi officially debuted as a member of izna with the mini album N/a released by WAKEONE Entertainment. The album contains five tracks: “IZNA” (title track), “TIMEBOMB”, “IWALY (izna Ver.)”, “DRIP”, and “FAKE IT”. The title track “IZNA” entered the MelOn Daily Chart at 290th on November 26, 2024.
In 2025, on March 31, Jeong Saebi and izna released the single “SIGN”. In 2025, on March 4, Jeong Saebi began serving as an MC for the SBS M program The Show. In 2025, on April 15, the group achieved its first music show win on The Show with “SIGN,” where Jeong Saebi presented the award to the group while serving as the MC.
