Lily (full name Lily Jin Morrow, Korean name Park Jin) is a Korean Australian singer born on October 17, 2002, in Marysville, Victoria, Australia. Lily is active in K pop music under JYP Entertainment and is a member and main vocalist of the girl group NMIXX.
Early life
Lily was born and raised in Victoria, Australia, in a multicultural family with a Korean mother, Park Jin-hee, and an Australian father, Bruce Morrow. She began learning piano at the age of four and also attended ballet classes. During childhood, she worked as a child model and appeared on children’s television programs, including English Egg.
In 2014, at the age of 12, she competed on the reality television program K pop Star Season 4 under the stage name Lily M and placed fourth. After the program, she was offered contracts by both JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment, and she chose JYP Entertainment, signing on May 4, 2015. She subsequently underwent a seven year trainee period before her official debut.
Career
In 2015, Lily released the song I’m Afraid (겁이 나) for the soundtrack of the KBS television series Orange Marmalade on May 16. Later that year, she released another track, Shiny Day (눈부신 날), for the same soundtrack.
In 2016, she played the lead role of Sarah in the Australian children’s film The Weatherman’s Umbrella.
In 2017, she appeared as a contestant on the reality program Stray Kids. On November 19, 2021, she was revealed as the seventh and final member of NMIXX through a cover of Bruno Mars’s song Finesse.
On February 22, 2022, Lily made her official debut with NMIXX through the group’s first single album Ad Mare and its title track O.O. In September of the same year, the group released its second single album Entwurf with the title track Dice. In November 2022, she appeared on King of Mask Singer and was eliminated in the second round.
In 2023, she recorded the song The Moment (너를 만난 순간) with Sullyoon for the soundtrack of the television series Love to Hate You. In March 2023, NMIXX released its first EP expérgo with the title track Love Me Like This. In July, the group released the single album A Midsummer NMIXX’s Dream with the title track Party O’Clock. She also released the collaborative song Delete with Yaochen on the album Adventure Player in 2023.
In 2024, Lily released the EP Fe3O4: BREAK with NMIXX in January. In August, she was announced as the MC of the web program Issue Club, where she appeared as an investigative reporter interviewing artists. In the same month, she released the EP Fe3O4: STICK OUT with the group.
In 2025, Lily released the studio album Blue Valentine with NMIXX in January and participated in writing lyrics for the songs Reality Hurts and Blue Valentine (English Ver.). In March, the group released the EP Fe3O4: FORWARD. She also released the song Ridin’ with Jiwoo and Kyujin for the album World of Street Woman Fighter OST, Volume 2.
