Sullyoon (born Seol Yoon-ah; January 26, 2004) is a South Korean singer. She is a member of the girl group NMIXX under JYP Entertainment, where she serves as a lead vocalist and dancer.
Early Life
Sullyoon was born in Taepyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, South Korea. She has a younger sister born in 2007 and a younger brother born in 2011. She began studying ballet and modern dance at a young age.
Sullyoon attended Daejeon Budnae Elementary School and later graduated from Daejeon Budnae Middle School. During her elementary years, she served as the student council president. She then attended Seodaejeon Girls’ High School before graduating from Hanlim Multi Arts School, majoring in Broadcasting and Entertainment.
In 2020, she participated in a private audition and successfully passed auditions for several entertainment agencies, including SM (2020), YG, Fantagio, and TS (December 2017). Sullyoon chose to join JYP Entertainment in 2020 due to her admiration for the group TWICE. Her training period lasted approximately one year, the shortest among the members of NMIXX.
Career
In 2021, Sullyoon was announced as the fourth member of NMIXX on September 3 through a cover video of Sunmi’s song “Full Moon.”
In 2022, on January 26, Sullyoon was confirmed as a member of the girl group NMIXX when the group’s name was officially announced. On February 22, she debuted with the group with the single album Ad Mare and participated in performances of the title track “O.O.”
In 2023, Sullyoon recorded the song “The Moment” in collaboration with member Lily for the soundtrack of the fourth part of the television series Love to Hate You. On March 20, she participated in the release of NMIXX’s first extended play (EP), Expérgo, featuring the title track “Love Me Like This.” On March 23, she took on the role of a special MC for MBC’s music program Show! Music Core. On April 6, she was appointed as an official MC for the show. She began hosting on April 15, alongside Jungwoo and Lee Know.
In 2024, Sullyoon participated in the release of NMIXX’s second extended play, Fe3O4: Break, on January 15. On August 19, she participated in the release of the third extended play, Fe3O4: Stick Out. On December 31, she performed a collaboration stage with Karina and Yuna at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon music awards.
In 2025, on February 8, Sullyoon concluded her role as a host on Show! Music Core, with her final episode airing on February 15. On March 4, she participated in the recording and performance of the digital single “High Horse” with NMIXX. On March 17, she continued activities with the EP Fe3O4: Forward. On October 13, she took part in the release of the group’s first full-length studio album, Blue Valentine. On November 29, she joined NMIXX’s first world tour, Episode 1: Zero Frontier, which began at Inspire Arena in Incheon.
