Kanamaru Saki (born April 5, 2002) is a Japanese singer, dancer, idol, and model from Kumamoto Prefecture. She is a founding member of the idol group Twilight: and a former member of ONE BY ONE, where she served as a core member with light blue as her signature color.
Career
She began her career in 2021 as a founding member of ONE BY ONE, which was formed on March 20, 2021. She participated in training and early performances prior to the group’s planned activities in 2022. The group suspended operations in late 2021, and she officially left the group on December 31, 2021. She later rejoined ONE BY ONE on April 14, 2022, before leaving again on November 30, 2022.
In 2023, she continued her idol activities as a member of the duo Twilight:. The group made its debut on May 12, 2023, at SHIBUYA WOMB in Tokyo, gaining recognition within the underground idol scene. Following her tenure with Twilight:, she shifted toward solo activities and personal projects.
Parallel to her idol activities, she built a significant social media presence under the stage name Syujinko (主人公). A dance video set to the song “Henceforth” went viral, contributing to a rapid increase in her following. This popularity led her to expand into gravure modeling in 2024. By 2025, her TikTok following exceeded 1.5 million users.
On April 1, 2024, she officially debuted as a gravure model with the digital photobook Odoru Wanrūmu kara Yume no Naka (踊るワンルームから夢の中), published by Shueisha on the Shūkan Pureibōi Gurajapa! platform. Her debut was preceded by a 100-day countdown campaign on TikTok using the hashtag #人生初水着まであと100日, which garnered substantial public attention. Upon release, the photobook ranked first on the daily digital photobook sales charts.
In May 2024, she was featured in the May 27 issue of Shūkan Pureibōi. In November of the same year, she made her first appearance in Weekly Young Jump. This appearance was promoted through a countdown campaign titled #パジャマを脱ぐまで後◯◯日, helping her TikTok followers surpass 1.3 million. The accompanying digital photobook, Pajama wo Nugu made Ato ◯◯ Nichi Pajama no Naka wa…, was released on October 30, 2024.
In December 2024, she received the Influencer Award at the Gurajapa! AWARD 2024, recognizing the social media-based gravure model with the highest sales performance. The award evaluated sales, artistic value, and cultural impact between January 1, 2023, and October 31, 2024. Her award-winning debut work was photographed by Kozuka Takeshi.
In 2025, she released further digital photobooks under the Young Jump Photo Book label, including Syujinko to wa Oudou de Aru!
