LNGSHOT (롱샷) is a four-member South Korean boy group active in music and performance. The group is managed by MORE VISION, a South Korean entertainment company founded by rapper and entrepreneur Jay Park. LNGSHOT officially debuted on January 13, 2026, with the debut EP SHOT CALLERS.
LNGSHOT consists of four members: Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin, and Louis. Members Ohyul, Ryul, and Woojin hold South Korean citizenship, while Louis holds both South Korean and French citizenship.
Meaning of LNGSHOT
LNGSHOT is a stylized abbreviation of “LONG SHOT,” an English phrase referring to a slim chance or an effort made under adverse circumstances. Named by Jay Park, the group’s name represents the image of an underdog rising to success, while emphasizing that the act of challenging oneself carries its own significance regardless of the outcome. During the debut showcase held on January 13, 2026, in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, Woojin mentioned that the name initially seemed unfamiliar to Koreans; however, after working together, the members stated that “no other word could replace LNGSHOT.”

As of February 2026, the group’s total Spotify streams exceeded 94 million, with 6 million monthly listeners. “Moonwalkin'” alone achieved over 34 million streams. The track “Saucin'” features a Memphis-style hip-hop sound with signature cowbells and 808 bass, while “Moonwalkin'” is inspired by Michael Jackson and built on themes of uncertainty and the will to persevere.
