Haeun (하은), born Na Ha-eun (나하은), is a South Korean singer, dancer, and former YouTuber born on January 16, 2009. She is currently under High Up Entertainment and is a member of the girl group UNCHILD (언차일드), where she serves as the main dancer and maknae.

Early life

Na Ha-eun was born in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea. She has a younger sister, Na Hayoon, who is a kid influencer on TikTok. According to a family interview, she began dancing in front of the television at around three or four years old while her mother was pregnant with Hayoon. She attended Seoul Dogok Elementary School and Jinseon Girls’ Middle School.

In 2022, she signed an exclusive contract with SM Entertainment as a trainee. She left the agency on August 1, 2024, and joined High Up Entertainment on September 10, 2024.

Career

2012

Haeun made her first television appearance on Star King, the SBS variety show, performing a dance cover of HyunA’s “Bubble Pop” at around age four. The performance earned her the nickname “Baby HyunA,” and she was given the opportunity to dance alongside HyunA on stage.

2014

In November 2014, she appeared as a contestant on the fourth season of K-Pop Star on SBS. She performed covers of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” from the Frozen soundtrack and SISTAR’s “Touch My Body,” but was eliminated in the show’s second round.

She launched her YouTube channel Awesome Haeun (어썸하은) on July 27, 2014, uploading K-pop dance covers. Her first video was a cover of Apink’s “Mr. Chu.”

2017

Haeun performed dance covers of the Best Dance nominees at the 2017 Melon Music Awards, covering each candidate’s choreography as part of the award presentation. Her performance during that ceremony drew significant attention and she was invited back for the same segment in 2018 and 2019.

2018

On January 26, 2018, she released her first single “So Special” featuring rapper Microdot, under KidsPlanet. The release was accompanied by a music video. By this point, her YouTube channel had accumulated over 2 million subscribers.

Haeun returned to the Melon Music Awards in 2018 and 2019 to continue performing dance cover stages for the Best Dance category.

2022

On April 20, 2022, SM Entertainment announced that Haeun had signed an exclusive contract with the agency. YouTube uploads on her Awesome Haeun channel were discontinued around the same time.

2024

On August 1, 2024, it was reported that Haeun had left SM Entertainment. On September 10, 2024, High Up Entertainment announced she had signed an exclusive contract with the agency.

2025

On November 27, 2025, it was announced through a GQ Korea interview that Haeun was preparing to debut in High Up Entertainment’s upcoming girl group. She was the first member of UNCHILD to be publicly confirmed.

2026

On March 27, 2026, Haeun was identified by fans as one of the members of UNCHILD while the group was filming content at the Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park.

On April 7, 2026, she was officially introduced as a member of UNCHILD under the stage name Haeun, through the group’s debut trailer, in which she appeared tossing a rice ball into a bowl of soup at a traditional Korean diner.

On April 21, 2026, UNCHILD made their official debut and released their first digital single, “We Are UNCHILD.”

Popularity

Haeun’s Awesome Haeun YouTube channel accumulated over 5 million subscribers and 893 million views before uploads were discontinued in 2022. She appeared in GQ Korea in November 2025 ahead of her debut confirmation, and in GQ Korea and Cosmopolitan Korea in May 2026 following UNCHILD’s debut. Her pre-debut popularity drew additional attention to UNCHILD.
