Kelou (可楼) is an Austrian Chinese singer and streamer. She first gained attention online as a solo singer and later became active in the Chinese music industry.
Early life
Kelou was born and raised in Austria in a family from Qingtian, Zhejiang, a region known for its large overseas Chinese community. Before becoming widely known, she started uploading short-form music videos on Douyin, including covers of The Moon Represents My Heart.
Career
Kelou first gained attention in 2022 after posting short singing clips on social media, quickly attracting attention online.
In early 2023, Kelou appeared in a livestream with content creator Crazy Little Yang. The livestream significantly increased her online following.
In August 2023, she participated in The Voice of China 2023, produced by Zhejiang Television. For her debut appearance on the show, she performed the song My Beauty and was selected to join the team of singer Emil Wakin Chau.
On September 17, 2024, she appeared on the special program Cultural China: The Moon Shines Over My Homeland, as part of Zhejiang Television’s Mid-Autumn Festival special. During the event, Kelou performed the song The Wind Rises alongside the Hangzhou Song and Dance Troupe.
On May 23, 2025, Kelou appeared on the music program Asia New Voice. A few weeks later, on June 9, 2025, she, along with Aisin Gioro Mei and several other artists, released the show’s theme song, Light of Battle.
