The name IVE is derived from the English phrase “I have”. It represents the group’s intention to confidently showcase what they already possess to their audience. Rather than emphasizing a growth journey, IVE was introduced as a “complete girl group” from the very beginning.

Fandom & Lightstick

IVE’s official fandom name is DIVE, announced on December 9, 2021. The name comes from the group’s greeting, “DIVE into IVE,” which encourages fans to immerse themselves in IVE’s music and style.

Their official lightstick, called IHABONG, was first revealed on January 3, 2023 through IVE’s official channels. It features a white body with a transparent dome containing the IVE logo, and a heart-shaped arrow design at the base of the dome—symbolizing the group’s hit song Love Dive.
