ITZY: Awards and Achievements

ITZY is a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2019 under JYP Entertainment. Since their debut, the group has received numerous awards and nominations at both domestic and international music award ceremonies.

Rookie Awards (2019)

In their debut year, ITZY achieved a “Rookie Grand Slam” by winning the Rookie of the Year award at all five major South Korean music award ceremonies. These awards include:

  • 34th Golden Disc Awards: Rookie of the Year
  • 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards: New Artist of the Year
  • 2019 Melon Music Awards: Best New Artist – Female
  • 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards: Best New Female Artist
  • 29th Seoul Music Awards: New Artist Award

Additionally, the group received Rookie of the Year honors at the 2019 Genie Music Awards and the 2019 Asia Artist Awards.

Circle Chart Music Awards

ITZY has secured three awards at this ceremony:

  • World K-Pop Rookie (2021)
  • Artist of the Year – Global Digital Music for “Cheshire” (2023)

Golden Disc Awards

The group has won three awards at the Golden Disc Awards, including the Digital Bonsang for “Dalla Dalla” (2020) and “Wannabe” (2021).

Mnet Asian Music Awards

At the Mnet Asian Music Awards, ITZY won Best New Female Artist (2019) and Fans’ Choice Top 10 – Female (2025).

2024 Activities

In 2024, ITZY released two mini-albums:

  • Born to Be (January), their eighth mini-album
  • Gold (October), their ninth mini-album

The group embarked on their second world tour, the Born to Be World Tour, from February to August 2024, performing in 26 cities across 16 countries. During this year, they continued to receive the Artist of the Year (Bonsang) award at The Fact Music Awards.

2025 Activities

In 2025, ITZY released two mini-albums:

  • Girls Will Be Girls (June)
  • Tunnel Vision (November)

The group won Best International Stage Performance at the 2025 TMElive International Music Awards and Fans’ Choice Top 10 – Female at the 2025 Mnet Asian Music Awards. ITZY also received multiple nominations at the 2025 Seoul Music Awards.

Touring Plans

ITZY has announced the Tunnel Vision World Tour, scheduled to kick off in February 2026 in Seoul, before expanding to Australia and New Zealand. All members have renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment.
